Bum bag – hill tribe bags – Lahu Bum Bag: base of black Lahu handwoven cloth decorated with Lahu traditional applique on front and top. This product is made by Lahu hill tribe women from northern villages of Thailand. The Lahu women do the back-strap weaving, foot-treadle looms and patch work trims while the men are skilled in producing musical instruments, basketry and other items made of bamboos. Buying this product provides the Lahu communities with rural employment and support their families.
